Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (ファイナルファンタジーVII アドベントチルドレン)

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a computer-animated film directed by Tetsuya Nomura and it is based from the highly popular Play Station Game: Final Fantasy VII.
The story tells about what happens after two years the Meteor had attacked the Planet. The Planet is in the early stage of recovery and some of the survivors suffer from a mysterious disease known as Geostigma. Together with Tifa, Cloud has established the Strife Delivery Service. Two children lived with them, too. They are Denzel and Marlene. However, due to some reasons, Cloud has not returned home for many days. Both Tifa and the children miss him. The story continues on about why Cloud was attacked by three mysterious silver-haired men who are searching for “mother”, what is their motive? How Cloud overcomes everything and finally stated that he is not alone anymore. If you are a great fan of FFVII, I'm sure you will like to watch Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, it is a very good film.

Finally, I have uploaded the photos of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Play Arts action figure of Cloud Strife. It has about 18 points of articulation that allows the figure to have various pose.

Gintama (銀魂) - Part 2

Gintama voice doll part 2 is out....yeah...Well actually it's been out for a few months...If I'm not wrong...it should be around the time of July. But as it is not in sale in Singapore, I've to ask somebody to bring it for me all the way from Japan. In this part 2 installment, we have 4 brand new characters and one repeated character. Hmmm....I wonder if there will be a part 3...

銀魂

近藤勲 (Kondo Isao)

The leader of Kyoto's police organization, the Shinsengumi. He is a bit goofy but nevertheless good-natured and honorable; the members of the Shinsengumi are loyal to him. He has a crush on Shimura Tae (Shinpachi's older sister) and stalks her, to which Otae responds with merciless beatings. His crush is apparently predicated on the fact that Otae answered yes when he asked if she would accept a man with hairy buttocks (which Kondo has).


坂田銀時 (Sakata Gintoki)

Sakata Gintoki is the main character of "Gintama". He is a samurai living in Edo(Tokyo) era when samurais are no longer needed. If you want to know more about him, do go to our earlier upload - Gintama (銀魂) - Part 1.

神楽 (Kagura)

Kagura is an alien from the "Yato Clan," one of the strongest races in existence. Despite her alien heritage, she looks like a normal human and talks with a Chinese accent. She can stop Gintoki's motor scooter single-handled and has an umbrella that is bullet-proof and can fire bullets from the tip. Her stomach knows no bounds and she apparently loves to eat sukonbu. Kagura has a giant dog-like creature called Sadaharu as a pet, which she had found. Sadaharu has a habit of often biting most of the characters, especially Gintoki.

志村新八 ( Shimura Shinpachi)

Shinpachi works under Gintoki to learn the ways of the samurai. However it seems more like he's just trying to help Gintoki pay the rent than to learn. He is actually pretty skilled with his wooden sword as he was being trained a child at his father's dojo. Shinpachi is the captain of the "Otsū-chan's Imperial Guard," a pop-singer's fan club. He has a huge crush for the pop-singer Otsu which explain for his die-hard loyalty to her fan club.


高杉晋助 (Takasugi Shinsuke)

A former comrade of Gintoki and Katsura, who now leads a Jôi group called the Kiheitai. They studied in the same school when they were kids. Now he is known as the most violent man from the Jôi because he has assassinated many of the Bakufu's main officers. He does not seem to be interested in saving the country like Katsura but only in destroying the "rotten" post-Joi war world. He believes that it is the war that had "snatched" (took the life of) their sensei away from them. He was the sensei who had taught Shinsuke, Katsura and Gintoki the ways of a samurai.

I really like this set of 5 just as much as the previous set in part 1. What really pleases me, is that now I have the complete members of the two rowdy groups, the Gintoki's group (Gintoki, Kagura and Shinpachi), the Shinsengumi (Kondo, Hijikata, Okita and Yamazaki). Well...there's another group to consider...that is the Shinsuke, Katsura and Gintoki. It is a pretty odd grouping...but I'm considering them as childhood friends and do hope they are able to reconcile one day...It will be a pretty formidable group, I'm pretty sure of that.

P.S. The lantern is the pictures is not part of the set. But do take note that, it is the type of lantern which the patrolling police use during the Edo period.
